MAXCAP: FP7 SSH Project
Maximizing Europe’s Integration Capacity: Lessons and Prospects for Enlargement, funded by the European Commission, co-coordinated by Free University, Berlin and Universityof Leiden. Meltem Müftüler-Baç leads the Sabancı University research team. 2013-2016.

Transworld: FP7 SSH Project
Meltem Müftüler-Baç, faculty member at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, has been awarded an EU grant under the European Commission’s FP7 SSH Cooperation Program. The project is entitled “TRANSWORLD: Redefining the transatlantic relationship and its role in shaping global governance’. The project has 13 international partner institutions including SU and is coordinated by the Institute of International Affairs in Rome, Italy. The research team from Sabancı University consists of Meltem Müftüler-Baç as the project leader, as well as Fuat Keyman, Emre Hatipoğlu, Arzu Kibris.

FP6 PROJECTS

RECON - Sabancı University participates in the Project "RECON: Reconstuting democracy in Europe"  which has been selected for a five-year support by the European Commission as part of the 6th Framework program.   The consortium member states of the RECON Project are Norway, Belgium, Germany,Italy, Hungary, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Turkey. The project is under the leadership of ARENA from Oslo and Jean Monnet Professor Meltem Muftuler Bac is the participant from Sabancı University.

GO-EuroMed- The project entitled as "GO-EuroMed: The Political Economy of Governance in the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership" , has been selected for a three-year support by the European Commission as a part of the 6th Framework program.  The main purpose of this Project is to focus on the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership, in the context of EU efforts to improve governance throughout its neighbourhood.  The consortium member states of the GO-EuroMed Project are Germany, Egypt, Jordan, Tunisia, Morroco, Turkey, Spain, France, and Poland. Jean Monnet Professor Bahri Yilmaz is the participant from Sabancı University.
